Tucker Oaks Golf Course is nearest to Anderson CA in an unincorporated area of Shasta County. It's a fun and wide open layout and includes 9 holes of golf. The second hole has a great view of Mt. Shasta to the north.

This is the most wide open of all the courses in the area, very tolerant of errant shots. Opened originally in 1965.

There is a mobile home park to the right just off the first tee that gets a few balls hit its direction, and a neighborhood over off of the third fairway of very nice homes. The course has plenty of room around it, very forgiving so swing until your hearts content. Most of your golf balls can be found.

The fairways are Bermuda, the greens are Poa Anna, and while poa anna is not always a good putting surface these are kept very nice and playable. Occasional bunkers greenside throughout the course.

#1 green here which has a great view of Mount Shasta as you approach the green. The Redding Airport is quite close and you will see the planes landing.

#2 Tee box, this par 4 plays a bit left to right. Very open and lots of room to roam.

#3 Tee and Green. This hole plays as a par 4 on the front 9 and a par 5 on the back and is pretty much straight away with trees on the right.

#3, the green shows why so many like this course. A consistent and playable course with good maintenance around the green complexes.

#5 Tee this is a nice short par 3 and the hole many will remember the most.
